Ben Cartwright

I am from Dyffryn Ardudwy near Harlech in North Wales and I am currently studying for the Master of Integrated Water Management in Brisbane Australia.

I am a civil engineer and and have worked on various projects including the Millennium Stadium, Water Treatment Plants, aid programmes in Afrghanistan, Kenya and Sudan and for the last 5 years been working at Trawsfynyyd Decommissioning Site. Since working abroad I have wanted to return to the field of development and my time at Traws has enabled me to learn, buy a house in Dyffryn and save to undertake a masters. After graduating I intend to base myself in Dyffryn and work in water management in development contexts abroad and also if and when I have a family and settle down, back in Wales and the UK.
