AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDENOn a beautifully sunny afternoon in July 2008 the members of the Rotary Club of Houghton-le-Spring were invited to visit Godfrey and Alison's new garden at High Wooley. The house was a farm conversion and before they got their green fingers on the ground it was a field. Now it sweeps down the valley side with a wonderful view over the Durham countryside. Alison was pleased to share some of her horticultural ideas.
