Some impressive performances here from St Martins School who occupy the top four positions in the Rotary Club of Oswestry Investment Competition.

The latest performance table from Sean Makin of the HSBC sees BIG maintaining their lead.  What are they teaching them at St Martins - we want to know!

Students at St Martins School have continued their domination in the Rotary Club of Oswestry Investment Challenge 2016/17.

As the competition hots up in preparation for the end of the financial year, students are busy reviewing their portfolios in a bid to win the competition.

Dylan Bolton, Year 8 pupil and CEO of Bolton’s Investment Group, said: “We just looked for shares that were cyclical over the last year and likely to raise over Christmas.The one we chose looked a good bet,” added Dylan, who was previously finance director of his primary school ‘Enterprise Project’ which forms part
of the curriculum at the St Martins School.
