Thu 30th March 2023 Young Philanthropist Competition

7 groups of S2 pupils at Kilsyth Academy representing different local charities research and presented their case in front of a judging panel. Winners this year was a group making the case for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Care.

Global scholar Kacie gave us an interesting talk on her background, interests and studies. She loves living in Scotland.

Our festive meal where Tom Harkins was welcomed as honorary member. Coachman staff were presented with gratuities. We also welcomed staff from PacittiJones. After the meal we enjoyed a fun raffle and a game of Deal or No deal

Mon 12th December 2022 Santa's Sleigh and Carol Concert

Santa's Sleigh finished in Burngreen in time for the annual Carol Concert. A large crowd enjoyed singing along to the music provided by Croy band.

Our first venture with a Santa's Sleigh. It operated on Sunday and Monday nights. Thanks to Kilsyth Academy for helping with the sleigh and all who gave support.

Burns & Old Parish Church Hall. Santa was there for the young ones, the tearoom was busy and craft stalls sold a range of gifts. Thanks to everyone who supported the event.

To commemorate World Polio Day and Rotary's Commitment to End Polio Now, Kilsyth Academy, Anderson Church and Victoria Memorial Hospital were lit up in purple, the colour of the End Polio Now campaign.
