Rotary supporting the Ukraine refugees
Rotary Worldwide is collecting and donating money to support the Ukraine refugee crisis. Locally we have been making street collections and helped by the Bridport Youth football youngsters who managed to collect over £750 last Saturday.

The Cowshed project
A project to create a wheelchair accessible community allotment has come on leaps and bounds since it started earlier this year. Cowshed at Plot 17 - behind Bridport medical centre, has transformed from a grassy area to a beautiful allotment.

Rotary Ukraine support in Bridport
Both Bridport Rotary Clubs have worked together collecting donations for the Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Rumania, Moldova and Hungary. In 10 days we have raised circa £8000 which included £700 which the Bridport Youth footballers collected.

Melray begins setting up a new school library
One of Melray's wishes was to establish a library at her SOS Africa school. Bridport Rotary Club donated £250 towards this idea and Melray has now started to buy books and and other requisites for the library.

Hyacinth sales help from the community
Lisa Finlayson & Wayne Fraser at Bradpole Post Office and Pete and Gill Mayo at Burton Bradstock Post Office between them sold over 200 pots of bulbs. This voluntary act of good will during these difficult times is very much appreciated by the Club.

The Town Hall clock will be illuminated purple and collections will be made for the Purple for Polio campaign to eliminate polio worldwide.
