"The club organises a number of fundraising events in order to fund its various charitable activities. Regular events include the Classic Vehicle Run, assisting with the Sodbury Slog, the Victorian Day and a golf day.

Each year the club organises a classic car rally with a different circular route each year, coffee stops and finishing with a grand lunch back at Chipping Sodbury.

Each year the Club organises a classic run throughout the local countryside. The day starts with breakfast in Chipping Sodbury, a coffee break along the way and finishes with a lunch at a well known location. The route and locations change each year.

This year 67 entries were submitted from Chipping Sodbury School and Yate International Academy.The Hall buzzed with enthusiasm as they laid out their exibits, which represented many hours of dedicated work.

Each year the club holds a Young Innovator competition for the local schools.

Members of the Bitton Road Runners, the Rotary Club, and the local community all help marshal the event. In return each year over £2 per entrant is donated to local charities and the community. This is distributed by the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury.

On 11 September members of the Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club, accompanied by two members of the Chipping Sodbury Inner Wheel club and family members masquerading as “Chipping Sodbury Daredevils” abseiled down the wall of Southmead Hospital.

In the past the club was a key suporter of The Chipping Sodbury Sportive. Unfortuanetly the event fell foul of Covis and has been suspended. It raised many thousands of pounds for local charities.
