About us

Welcome to Torrington Rotary...  Please explore our website for information about how we help our local Community, the wider world and what it means to be a Rotarian.

Our fortnightly meetings are very sociable and often entertaining, and we regularly have interesting speakers who broaden our horizons and inform on wide-ranging subjects.

Why not come along and meet us?    We'd be delighted to welcome you as a guest...

For all future meeting information, please click on MEETINGS & EVENTS, then  FUTURE MEETINGS & EVENTS for dates and details.  The next meeting is also shown on this home page.    Our work for the local and overseas communities can be seen on 'What We Do' pages.

Thank you Torrington!   Despite overcast skies and our general economic woes,  you contributed £581.76  to help Turkey and Syria at our street collection on 18 February, which we'll boost with a further 25% gift aid.   This will be in addition to our club's donation already given to Shelterbox.

Our club continues to help Ukrainian Refugees - CAN YOU KNIT?    Newborn babies in Ukraine need woolly hats to help survive the freezing temperatures.   If you could knit a baby's woolly hat  (or 2 or 3), we have collection points at Torrington Town Hall & Torrington Library... or perhaps donate some wool?
Please see our International page under 'What We Do'  for more information.

STOP PRESS!  Our first batch of woolly hats is on its way to Ukraine!   Thank you knitters... keep knitting!
