Schools THE CLIVE CROWTHER TROPHY 2022

During June the Club held a competition for the local primary titled "The Clive Crowther Trophy" in which pupils were asked to provide a form of art work relating to "What I See".

The trophy was in memory of Rotarian Clive Crowther who was an optomotrist, and sadly passed away at the end of 2021.

The winner, James, was presented with a trophy and a voucher for £25 whilst the three runners up ( Oakley, Molly and Max) were presented with Certificates of Merit and vouchers to the value of £15. The winner attends Thorn Primary School and the school was given a donation of £200. The number of entries and the terrific quality made the judging extremely difficult.

. The small plaque presented to the winner was provided by Bacup Inner wheel and presented by Inner wheel member Dorothy Crother, widow of Clive Crowther.

Rotarians are automatically entitled, and always welcome, to attend any meeting, please make contact beforehand to check on club activities, register your attendance and (importantly) book your dinner.
