About us

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services, the equivalent of an MBE, was awarded to Church & Oswaldtwistle Rotary on the 2nd June 2022

You don’t have to be a ‘professional’ to be part of Rotary and it is open to anyone over the age of 20. Our membership consists of retired people, full-time workers and students. We are a mixed bunch! All that we ask is that our Members are Community-minded people of good character.

To quote the late Sir Clem Renouf, a past President of Rotary International: “Rotary takes ordinary men and women and gives them extraordinary opportunities to do more with their lives than they ever dreamed possible.”

Feel free to contact me or our Secretary, Ian McTurk, if you would like to discuss this further.
