Virtual Duck Race 2021

Virtual Duck Race 2021

Our annual Duck Race took place virtually over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

About us

Thank you to everyone for supporting our activities.  Unfortunately, Covid-19 has put a temporary stop to these. We're still supporting local charities and good causes although it's difficult right now, as it is for everybody. Currently, we're supporting 'Stronger Together', the Leyland Trucks event that is raising funds for those where it's needed locally.

Our ever popular Duck Race, which due to Covid government guidelines was a virtual event this year, took place over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.  The winning duck - 'Tiddles' - paddled 881km.   Thank you to everyone who took part - we raised £1,000 to be distributed between St Catherine's Hospice, Derian House Children's Hospice and Cancer Research UK (Leyland).
