About us

   Poulton Rotary

was formed in 1948 and has been serving the local community and undertaking International projects since then. We meet on the first and third Wednesday evenings in the month when visiting Rotarians and prospective members are welcome to join us at The Shovels Inn, Green Meadow Lane, Hambleton, near Blackpool, FY6 9AL.

We have one planning meeting and one speaker meeting every month with a social event on any fifth Wednesday in the month.  In addition we enjoy sports and other social events.

The Rotary motto is 'Service above Self' and members are very mindful of the need to help others who are perhaps not as fortunate as ourselves.
