About us

The President and Members welcome you to the website of the Rotary Club of Crook

The Rotary Club of Crook meets each week to enjoy the fellowship of friends, while serving the local community and the wider world. Our meetings are held at The Blue Stone Tea Shop, Crook every Monday evening, commencing at 7.00pm for 7.15pm, where we are regularly entertained by a wide variety of interesting speakers, and have business meetings to plan our various fundraising and social activities.

Our club is one of around 34,000 such clubs in approximately 200 countries / geographical areas around the world, that make up the service organisation

"Rotary International"

In total, Rotary International has some 1.2 million members, of which around 54,000 are within the 1,850 clubs making up "Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland" (RIBI).

So, what is Rotary all about ??

Rotary is the world's largest service organisation, made up of business and professional men and women, whose aim is to try to help those in need and work towards greater world understanding and peace. It can play a most fulfilling role, and members can get involved as much, or as little, as their time and abilities will allow.
