About us

The Rotary Club of Thanet was founded in 1983 and is part of the 1120 Rotary District. We have over 30 members, with professional backgrounds in the private and public sectors, who are happy to contribute their time, skills and energy to help, and work alongside others, in support of communities, whether they be local or international.

We are a welcoming club and value good fellowship with many enjoyable social events throughout the year.

Please explore ' Active locally in the community and internationally' in our ' What we do ' page . As you will see, we are fully engaged in helping our community cope with Covid. But scroll down to the videos at the foot of this page and see what fellow Rotary clubs are doing.

Interested?

If any of the above interests you  -  would you like to work alongside us on particular projects or would you be interested in joining our club (by invitation) - please contact our Club Secretary using the Contact Us link in our menu. Our membership is no longer as young as we would like it to be. Why not get in touch and help with your fresh energy and ideas?

If you would like to contribute to our charitable funds , please see the Donate button  below:-
