About us

Welcome to the Bingley Airedale Rotary Club.

Our aims are to provide service to others in our community and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace. We achieve these aims through being active in the community and demonstrating our commitment to the voluntary sector. Fund raising both in the communnity and through the fellowship of members is central to our activities.

If these ideals are something that you are attracted to and you would like to become involved why not get intouch and we'll arrange a taster session,

You might have heard of our organisation and unfortunately have an impression that its for the likes of Captain Mainwaring in "Dads Army".  These days that is a long way from the truth. Providing you have a desire to help other people in the world whether from the Bradford area, the UK or the developing and third world thats all thats needed.

Rotary was born in America more than 100 years ago.  Since then its grown to be world wide. We have clubs in more than 180 countries as wide as America to India - from South Africa to the likes of South Korea.  Any one who is a Rotarian will be welcome in any club and be part of this million plus membership.

Use the buttons above to learn more about our Rotary club  and visit District, National and International websites.

If you are visiting the Bingley area, you will be made welcome at any of our meetings. Similarly should you be interested in joining our Club, please check the venue and programme pages for further details and email bingleyairedalesecretary@gmail.com  to arrange your visit.
