Welcome to The Rotary Club Of Clevedon Yeo
Due to current social distancing advice we are meeting by Zoom, however we hope to return to meeting as follows:
We are a small vibrant club based at The Walton Park Hotel, Wellington Terrace, Clevedon.
We meet on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7-30pm.
With the economy as it has been in the recent past the club has changed it's emphasis from merely fund raising to more practical community help, although fundraising will remain a core objective for us and we still raise and provide substantial funds for a variety of local, national and international projects.
We also do this with a sense of fun and we have a good and active programme including great speakers at our club nights, days out including boat trips, abseiling and weekends away (to mention a few!)
One of our community projects is the 'Mock Interview' session for students of Clevedon Community school. To benefit those students looking to enter the world of further education or to secure paid employment the interview process can be crucial. We assist a good number of students in that respect by providing the opportunity to practise their skills. All we use to make that happen is a number of our members giving up some time.
Getting involved with Rotary could be the most important thing you ever do. Your skills and experience are invaluable in our drive to help communities at home and around the world, and whether you become a member or volunteer your time and abilities to your local club, you will be helping to make people's lives better. Use our contact page to get in touch.
Alternatively, if you are a group or organisation that could benefit from our expertise then please contact us.
Hope to hear from you soon
