Welcome to Abbeydale Rotary

Rotary is an international organisation with clubs in over 200 countries and Abbeydale Rotary Club in Sheffield is one of them. Through the Rotary organisation we are in a unique position to help our communities locally, nationally and internationally. Our club is made up of diverse group of people from different ethnic minorities and gender. We meet once a week on Wednesdays at lunch time, though the meeting on the last Wednesday in the month is in the evening. We have guest speakers at our meetings but also have quizzes, bingo and other fun activities to raise funds.

We help our local community, either by hands on or financial help. Details of our many projects as well as weekly activities can be found on the “What We Do” pages on this website.

We know your time is precious and there are many voluntary organisations but Rotary is unique that it is not limited to any one cause or charity therefore you can choose one or more cause to support through fund raising or volunteering. If you would like to volunteer to help your community and have fun whilst doing it, do contact us, or come along to one of our meetings. And if you are a part of a group that needs assistance, let us know and we will try our best to help.
