Alongside our Santa float and money we raise through our fun casinos and race nights, we hold stand alone fundraisers for various charities.
DetailsWe can offer fun casinos and race nights for corporate events, weddings, special occasions and fund raisers.
DetailsWe were formed in 2001 as Brickhills’ Rotary, and changed our name to MK Watling Rotary in 2018 to better reflect our involvement in the Milton Keynes area.
We are a group of men and women with a wide age range and we meet to socialise, carry out community projects and raise funds for a variety of great causes.
We began as one of the first of a new breed of Rotary clubs, more informal in our ways than many Rotary clubs (no business suits at our meetings!), less expensive as our meetings don’t include a meal and with monthly, not weekly whole club meetings. We aim to be Rotary in a way that is more suited to family or business life in the 21st century.
We are a family club and our spouses and children are not only welcome, but encouraged to come along to the majority of our events.
We have just one friendly and informal meeting a month, where we discuss Rotary business and plan and organise our activities. The meetings are vibrant and energetic, serious enough to get things done, but with a big injection of humour too!
Though our business meetings are monthly, very few weekends go by without something in our diary. We have a varied programme of events, with a number of activities establishing themselves as club traditions and favourites. Have a look at “What We Do” above or to the left, to find out more.
Perhaps you'd like to find out more about our club in particular, or Rotary in general?
Better still, would you like to find out what we do and get to know us as people?
We recommend you come along and see us in action, at a community, fundraising or social event. These events mean we have time to talk to you and explain what we do, and see how this can fit with you and your lifestyle.
We meet on Sundays at 19:00 for 19:15
(We meet on the first Sunday of each month, except December, when we have a date with Santa! We sometimes move our meetings that fall on Bank Holiday weekends.)Be part of a global network of volunteers, trying to make the world a better place.
