About us

The Rotary Club of Reading Thames is a new-style Rotary Club servicing the area of Reading and surrounding areas. It is a club for people and families who want to get involved in local and international commumity projects and meet like-minded people in the local area. Hands-on-volunteering, fundraising, challenge events, sharing our professional skills to help local charities develop - these are just some of the activiites we get involved in - as well as having fun while we're doing it!

We know most people are busy so we meet on the second Tuesday evening of each month over Zoom to plan projects, hear from inspiring speakers and have a catch up with friends. We had planned to meet socially on the last Sunday of each month but with lockdown and social distancing rules this has not been very successful this year though we have managed to have a picnic in the park last summer and a few socials at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Some of our members who have young children bring them along too, so no need to worry about childcare as the space is very child friendly with space to walk and feed ducks.
