Welcome to ‘ROTARY100’
Rotary in Scarborough is celebrating one hundred years and to commemorate this century of service, Rotary in Scarborough has partnered with three great local charitable causes to help raise £100,000 towards three exciting projects based here in Scarborough.
Scarborough YMCA, Scarborough NHS Hospital St.Catherines Hospice have all identified much needed facilities that they want to deliver in 2022 and the money raised this year (July 2021-July 2022) will help do this and therefore support and benefit our local community and across a wide range of age groups.
Rotary is synonymous as ‘people of action’ and so as well as raising funding itself it is asking individuals and businesses to get involved and support this great initiative through donating or participating in fund raising activities.
Businesses are being asked to become a ‘ROTARY100’ by ideally offering £1000 towards the initiative but individuals can also donate any money to help achieve this target.
Rotary appreciates that the last year or so has been difficult for many but as we emerge from the shadow of Covid we need to look positively towards the future and to provide facilities that will benefit us all.
The three organisations are delighted to be partnering with Rotary in its Centenary Year and are looking forward to building a better future for those who use their facilities.
So come on. Please get involved in a community bouncing back from Covid and support us in our endeavours. Watch out for details of ROTARY100 events throughout the year.
You can donate using this page but if you want any further information or to offer an expression of interest, please get in touch by emailing us on ROTARY100Scarborough@gmail.com .
Thanks for your support.
