About us

Welcome to the website for the Rotary Club of Douglas, Isle of Man. We are the longest established and largest of the five Rotary Clubs on the beautiful Isle of Man and play an active and important part in the strong community life of Douglas and the wider island. Winter Hill 60th Anniversary

Winter Hill 60th Anniversary


An informal ceremony will be held at Cooil y Ree Park, St. John's to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Winter Hill plane crash. A memorial event will also be held in Horwich which will be attended by a party of 25 from the Island.

The competition will be held at Ballakermeen High School for the second successive year as they were winners in 2016 and again in 2017. Can they be beaten this year?
