About us

COVID-19

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the Rotary Club of Meriden are not meeting at the Manor Hotel until further notice.
Instead we are using ZOOM to meet as many of our members on-line on Tuesdays as usual. We start the meeting at 7:15 pm for 15 minutes of general chat, followed at 7:30 pm for the meeting itself.
If you wish to join our meeting, please use the "Contact" button above to send us a message and we wll forward you the meeting ID and password.

A WARM WELCOME TO MERIDEN ROTARY CLUB

We are a group of positive men and women who want to make a difference. We come from a wide range of backgrounds and age groups. Some have been members for many years, others have joined more recently and our club continues to grow and adapt.

OUR AIM

To be a force for good in Meriden and the surrounding areas, always upholding high ethical standards, playing our part locally, nationally and internationally.

We seek to develop the area and our community.

We work with others to maximise our positive impact.

We support each other, respecting differences and adapting to the modern world.

WHAT WE DO

Due the Covid-19 lockdown all of our events and activities for this year are cancelled. We are reviewing this as and when the Government directives change.

In the mean time, we are using our charity funds to provide financial support to as many local charities as we can. For example, we have donated money to the local foodbank, local volunteer groups and others. If you know of any group or organisation that will benefit from a finacial donation, let us know using the "Contact" button at the top.

Normall, we have various projects and activities organised through our various committees:

 Community and Vocational

 International and Foundation

 Youth

MEETINGS and SOCIAL

We usually enjoy a three course meal followed by a speaker. In the current lock-down, we socialise using Zoom.

We have social evenings such as Christmas Party, Burns Night, Presidents Night. We periodically go for an Indian meal and once a year we go for a weekend away.

If you would like to find out more about us, why not come to one of our meetings to meet us all!
