Breaks Manor supports both a Youth Club and “Men In Sheds” for the not-so-young. After 70 years, the main building has needed much refurbishment – we were able to help and provide a generator system to allow youth events after dark in their groundsDetails

We raise funds through events and we have a great time and fellowship doing it. COVID has forced us to move to Zoom meetings and virtual fundraising but we still aim to support charities.
When not in lockdown, Together with Welwyn Garden City Rotary Club we have organised Charity Walks every year for 20 years raising funds for our own and our walkers’ local and national charities. Our Father Christmas was at the Aldenham Country Park Frost Fair in November 2019. That was our major fundraiser for last year.
We give our time and are not expected to dig into our own pockets. We raise and spend over £10,000 annually.

If you are interested in coming to see one of our meetings, please ring 07594 335673. During the Covid-19 Crisis we have been meeting weekly via Zoom on Wednesday evenings. in normal circumstances, we meet weekly at The Mercure Oak Hotel in Hatfield for a programme of speakers and fellowship.
