About us

OUR AIMS: With our Rotary motto of “service above self”, club members, both men and women; have fun whilst serving our communities and making a difference worldwide. We raise money and provide assistance to a whole range of local, national, international and Rotary charities and good causes.

OUR MEMBERS: We come from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages within Bexley and the surrounding areas.  We draw upon the many and varied skills of our members to make us a successful and fulfilling club to be involved in.

FUNDRAISING: We undertake fundraising for charities, as well as other important community- based projects through many public events, which provide us all with a lot of fun. Our major fundraiser is the annual Christmas collection, with Santa’s Sleigh travelling around Bexley’s streets for 12 evenings in December, as well as early morning collections at several of the railway stations in the borough; quiz nights and silent auctions. (Please check out our “Projects” and “Events” pages for further information.)

HAVING FUN: We hold regular weekly meetings giving us the opportunity to mix socially, have fun and relax, as well as welcoming representatives from local charities and community projects. Along with partners and friends we also have meals out, visits to shows and places of interest. We help at events run by local charities and community projects, and provide support to local schools, disability groups etc.

INTERESTED?: New members are always welcome, and you can “try before you buy (join)”. If you think that you can contribute and share in our work and enjoyment, then come along to a few of our meetings or events to meets us and see for yourself. You will be made very welcome.

Contact us for a chat or to arrange to visit the Club.
