On 16th November, 2023, Max Blake gave an excellent a talk to Langholm Rotary Club on Red Squirrels in the UK and their battle for survical against the grey squirrel.  Max showed the change in Red/Grey population from 1945 until current day.

Max's talk was thouroughly enjoyed by everyone and provoked many questions - always a good sign of a great talk!

Langholm Rotary Club members are back formally meeting at the Eskdale Hotel at 6pm each Thursday, where we will be planning our events to contribute to the local and international communities.

Most weeks we have an invited speaker come to our meeting, so here is the upcoming list of speakers until the end of the year. If any of these are of an interest to you, and you would like to come along to listen, please feel free to contact us on Langholmrotaryclub@hotmail.com, and we will be able to confirm that there haven't been any last minute change of plans and let the hotel know how many people are coming.
