Serving the local Community since 1937
We have purchased purple crocus corms from Rotary UK & Ireland. Spring each year sees a beautiful purple carpet of crocus blooming in many communities across Great Britain and Ireland thanks to the Purple Crocus Corm planting to raise awareness of the Rotary fight for a polio free world.
Why purple – throughout the third world when a child is given a polio vaccine their finger is dipped in purple die to show they have received the vaccine.
If you have made a donation to buy a bulb in memory of a loved one or just because you like spring flowers, we will (with the help of a local scout group) plant the bulbs at the upper racecourse Haverfordwest this autumn.
Come the spring you can either visit the racecourse or see the pictures of the flowers on this site.
Donations will go to the Paul Sartori Foundation and Rotary charities and End Polio.
