                Porthcawl Rotary Christmas activities

    'Sleigh Time'

Once again we will be taking our sleigh around Porthcawl on four evenings and into John Street on three Saturdays in December. details are shown below:
  • Thursday 4th December -  starting in Restways, Faifax Crescent, George Street, Fenton Place, South Road, South Place, Arlington Road, South Road and finishing in the Forty Acre area
  • Tuesday 9th December.  -  starting at the far end of Long Acre Hillary Way, Anglesey Way, Sandpiper Road and finishing in Sker Walk
  • Thursday 11th December -starting in Nichols Ave, Parc-y-Berllan, Woodland Ave, Pant Morfa, Meadow Lane, Newton Nottage Road Clos-Mametz and finishing in Austin Ave 
  • Tuesday 16th December  - starting at the Danygraig Ave/Birch Walk junction, Beech Grove, The Grange, Laburnum Way, Rowan Drive, Lime Tree Way, The Burrows, Maple walk and finishing in Rowan Drive
The sleigh will be in John Street (outside the old Lloyds Bank) on the 6th, 13th and 20th December

 

  Christmas Post

Rotary Post will again operate throughout the CF36 area only. The cost of stamps are 35p each or 3 for a £1. The stamps can be purchased from a number of outlets in Porthcawl (please see the posters) and the cards/letters posted in the boxes located in the outlets. Please do not post the cards in the Royal Mail boxes.
 

All money collected during the Christmas period will be distributed to local charities. Please have an enjoyable Christmas.

Meetings & Venue

Where and when:

We meet on Mondays at 12.30pm

(In the Hi-Tide Inn, Mackworth Road, Porthcawl. Lunch on the first and third Mondays, a Zoom meeting at noon on the second Monday and an evening meeting at 7pm on the fourth Monday. We do not meet on Bank Holidays. )
