On Saturday 3rd November 2018, around two dozen local charities and voluntary organisations took part in this year’s Combined Charities Christmas Fair organised by Leatherhead Rotary Club at Leatherhead Theatre, raising awareness and money for their various causes by way of the sale of Christmas cards and gifts, together with a variety of tombolas, raffles and other fundraising activities.

Throughout the day, an estimated 500 people visited the fair, helping to raise over £3,000 for the charities present.

Rotary spokesperson, Simon Edmands, said the club were delighted with how well the day had gone, adding "Events like this are just what Rotary is all about, enabling other charities and voluntary organisations to raise funds from events and activities they might not necessarily be able to organise on their own."

Leatherhead Rotary Club would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s Christmas Fair, especially ExxonMobil, who very kindly funded the production of posters, flyers and banners to help promote the event.

Leatherhead Rotary Club meet at 7pm most Wednesday evenings at the Police Federation Headquarters in Highbury Drive, Leatherhead.
