Rotakids Groups raised over £1,250 during the Autumn 2024 school term.

Five Rotakids Groups, mentored by members of Brampton & Longtown Rotary, put in an amazing effort at their fundraising events last school term. Several charities benefited from events organised by primary school pupils’.

  • Fir Ends School raised almost £130 for the British Heart Foundation from a bake sale.
  • Irthington Village School raised almost £130 for the Anthony Nolan Trust and Cumbria Cerebral Palsy from a fancy dress disco.
  • Rockcliffe School raised £150 for Eden Valley Hospice from a Cake and Crafts Stall and a "Name the Elves" event.
  • Warwick Bridge School raised £290 for Oaktree Animal Sanctuary from a Cake Sale – Consultation Evening, a Bonfire bake sale and several activities at the school’s Christmas fair.
  • Wreay School raised £570 for Jigsaw Children’s Hospice from a Reindeer Run and the sale of Hospice raffle tickets.
