TECHNOLOGY TOURNAMENT

The Technology Tournament is an annual event organised by Harrogate Rotary Club with support from other Clubs for the benefit of local schools.


We had another successful Rotary Technology Tournament on Tuesday 12th February 2019, the number of Schools were down on last year but they provided more teams.

 

We invited 14 Schools but only 10 took part sending 27 teams; 7 at Advanced level 8 at Intermediate level and 12 at Foundation level. The project was to construct a tower with a flashing light on top.

Awards were presented by the Mayor of Harrogate and Rotary Club Presidents.

 

Judges supplied by us were Eddie, Jim, Keith, Alan and Bob.

Our stall at the Tockwith Show

Each year we support the Boston Spa Summer Festival in Stables Lane Park. We also promote Rotary at the Tockwith Show, with children's games, which raises funds for the club.
