Dictionaries 4 Life have been presented to Year 6 leavers at Whitton, Handford Hall and Whitehouse schools. Tony and Jerry with pupils from Whitton Primary school.
We have been providing D4L to three local schools for distribution to Year 6 leavers –Whitton, Handford Hall and Whitehouse. In addition, this year, we obtained a Rotary Foundation Grant to provide D4L to a further two schools – Springfield and Castle Hill.
We hope to be successful in obtaining another Grant for the 2017/2018 Rotary Year, so that we can distribute to five schools again next year.

The Rotary Club of Ipswich Wolsey enjoyed another successful annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday April 9th. Organised by Terry Mitchell, teams competed at Hintlesham Golf Club to raise funds for Cancer Support Suffolk. The winning team 'The Limeburners"

The Club supports many youth activities including "Crucial Crew", a vital educational programme about safety for year 6 schoolchildren in Ipswich, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), Rotary Young Chef competition and supplies Dictionaries 4 Life.

Through this committee we aim to make a difference to those individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves in other countries.
moreThis Committee is concerned with 'Making a Difference' in our community through a variety of improvement projects, e.g. outings for the older person, stroke awareness days or sailing for disabled children.
