Originally from Aberdeenshire, Duncan studied at Aberdeen University and then moved about the UK working numerous manufacturing companies ranging from motorcycle chain transmissions to medical intruments, ending up in Suffolk at Philips AVENT which makes baby feeding and health accessories. Duncan is married to Pam and they have two children, William and Flora. Now enjoying retirement, he is about to restore a BSA B31 and, being into bikes, will no doubt be joining the other enthusiaists in the club. He also works regularly at the charity Tools With A Mission and of course has joined Wolsey Rotay club.
