Members Golf day at Thorpness Golf Club

4 members from the club braved the weather for our second members golf day.
Although there were only 4 of us on our second members golf day, we all had a very enjoyable afternoon at Thorpness Golf course. The rain held off mostly, but when it rained, it poured!
We all had the same score on the first nine, but due to a brilliant chip on the 18th, Marlene won, with Bill coming a very close second - just one point in it!
We then went to Aldeburgh and had a lovely meal at The Wentworth, where we were joined by Lynne and Andy, Dave and Deborah and John.

The Club supports many youth activities including "Crucial Crew", a vital educational programme about safety for year 6 schoolchildren in Ipswich, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), Rotary Young Chef competition and supplies Dictionaries 4 Life.

The Rotary Club of Ipswich Wolsey enjoyed another successful annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday April 9th. Organised by Terry Mitchell, teams competed at Hintlesham Golf Club to raise funds for Cancer Support Suffolk. The winning team 'The Limeburners"
