Stokesley’s Classics on Show Gets TV Airing

Fans of the annual Classics on Show event organised by the Rotary Club of Stokesley, may want to tune into the Yesterday Channel at 8pm on February 6. The show is featured in the first of the new hit series Bangers & Cash.

The Rotary Club is hoping the exposure helps build a following for the show, which will next be held on the Stokesley Show Field on June 20.

This year, for the first time, the show will feature a dedicated motorbike arena. Funds raised from the show will go to local branches of the Samaritans, the non-profit charity that works to support at risk suicide victims and the Cleveland and North Yorkshire Blood Bikes which provides a free, voluntary courier service to North East NHS hospitals and Trusts and other Rotary charities.

Classics on Show exhibitors enter the event free while visitors pay £6 or £14 for a family ticket. Auto jumble traders pay £15 for a standard pitch. The event regularly attracts up to 400 exhibitors and an audience in excess of 2,000 enthusiasts.
