Keynote Speakers included :

Lee Birkhill – the Garden Ninja.  Lee has been a presenter on Garden Rescue since 2020.  Before that he had a career in IT.  Presentation not available.

Alastair Richards – CEO NW Cancer Research.  Alastair is passionate about advancing the fight against Cancer.  His priority is research, information and education to make our region healthier. He shared an amazing new break through in the quest for solutions to cancer diagnosis. Presentation.

Rebecca Batstone – Growing Well.  Rebecca is the Partnerships Manager for this developing organization that supports people with mental health wellbeing through growing activities in 4 different locations in our District.  Presentation

Eden Project – Morecambe.  Morecambe will shortly host the second Eden project.  Conference heard first hand about the latest concepts and developments from a local project team member. Presentation

Our Club are very proud of our newly formed Rotakids Club at Valley Primary School in Whitehaven. Just before the end of term they were presented with their Rotakids Charter at a whole school Assembly by District Youth Lead Anthony Chick

The Whitehaven Rotary Clubs have been painting some of the lamp posts on the harbour Purple to highlight Rotary's work to eradicate Polio in the world

We were delighted to welcome ex member Yvonne Clarkson to be a friend of our club on Handover night

We still have some Founder Members in the Club, so it was decided that 4 of them will share the role of President for the year!
