Club Meeting

Thu, Apr 24th 2025 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Venue: 'Sixty-One' Durham. Our guest speaker was Carrie Howarth from 'Sisters of Support' - a peer-led mental health support group for women.

Carrie Howarth

We were delighted to welcome Carrie Howarth to this week's meeting to tell us about Sisters of Support. This group was established by Carrie and Amy Turner in 2021 to provide mental health support for women in their community in Newton Aycliffe. With a vision to create a safe, peer-led environment for women to talk openly and support each other through mental health struggles and the everyday pressures of life, 'Sisters of Support' promotes a culture of listening, understanding, and empowerment.
