The David School – ongoing support: see www.thedavidschool.co.uk

(Supporting Education)

Our Club has loyally supported the David School in Sierra Leone for many years now, making regular donations towards the funding of a teacher and occasional donations for other needs.

This year we are sponsoring the Year 3 (Final year) training of teacher, Osman Kamara

lendwithcare – see lendwithcare.org

(Growing Local Economies)

This is a microfinance initiative aimed to help people work themselves out of poverty through the provision of small business venture loans. We intend continuing re-investing the repaid loans on an ongoing basis. We currently have £1,650 invested, on a rolling re-investment programme.

(Disaster Response / Supporting Education / Fighting Disease)

Without doubt the single most important ‘and way of life impacting’ event of the 21st Century. We will endeavour to support in any way we can through effort and endeavour rather than fiscally at this time given our collective generosity of late in recent donations.
