Houghton Bears

It was a privilege to visit the Houghton Bears busy at one of their training sessions

Houghton Bears

The Houghton Bears have been very successful and it was a pleasure to see them in action.

We have been able to fund a shield that shows all the MVPs (Most Valuable Player), in memory of the late Bob Chasse, a fellow Rotarian. The MVP isn’t just awarded to the most tag pulls or the most touchdowns it’s also the player that gave the most effort, showed team spirit, sportsmanship and respect.

This is undoubtedly a very fitting memorial for Bob, who loved sport.
