Inter-Pub Quiz Mar 2025

The Rotary Club of St Ives held its’ biannual inter-pub quiz on Thursday, March 27th, with more than 450 quizzers competing across 33 pubs up to 35 miles apart! Approximately £2, 600 was raised, bringing the total sum raised through this event to £72,800 overall. 

A big “thanks” goes out to all the pubs, clubs, landlords, landladies, quizmasters, quiz control telephonists and quizzers who make this event possible, as well as Estate Agents Peter Lane who sponsor the 18 bottles of wine for the winners and runners-up. 

Winning £300 for their chosen charity Prostate Cancer UK was The Swan Inn, Old Weston, who had opened especially for the quiz night. Closely behind them was The Prince of Wales, Hilton, who chose to donate their prize of £200 to Jimmy’s night shelter, Cambridge. They received twelve and six bottles of wine respectively.
