One of Rotary’s leading commitments is to offer young people the platforms and opportunities for them to unlock their potential, develop their skills and broaden their horizons. All our activities are designed to leave a lasting legacy on the lives of the participants whether that is giving them a platform to showcase their talents, a sociable environment for them to develop and grow, or simply an appreciation of how they can make a difference to the world around them. And our Perth Club is no exception.
We work closely with our local schools, running a very successful Primary school quiz and supporting three RotaKids Clubs in 3 of the local schools. Working with the older pupils in secondary schools we offer places annually for pupils to participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Award – RYLA. There are also a number of competitions open to the pupils – Well Read Quiz, Writers Competition and the Bake off. We support P& K Read a Book Initiative and offer Mock interviews to pupils as they consider their next steps on leaving school
