Spring Litter Pick

Teams of Rotarians cleaning up

On a, not so spring like, morning of Saturday 4th May, 2024 ten Rotarians went litter picking.  In high viz jackets armed with litter pickers they roamed the roundabouts and main streets to the north west of Perth for a couple of hours and filled 30 large black bin bags with rubbish.

Pavements, alleyways and hedgerows were made clean and along the way local residents asked about Rotary and what we were doing!  Always on the look-out for interesting finds only a street sign and a £5 note were notable – this time!!

Well organised by Graham Thom and supported by Alistair Ritchie with a second trailer the team, working in groups of two, enjoyed the morning’s forensic hunt of Perth.
