Letham4all Community Hub

A number of our members enjoyed a tour of the recently upgraded and extended Letham Community Hub on 27^th February, 2025.

Our hosts, Suzie Burt and Manager Gordon Ferguson, provided a conducted tour and gave details of how well the facilities which incorporate Games Hall, Multi Gym, Cafe, Treatment Room, Youth Room and Multi Purpose Meeting Rooms & Food Fridge, have been used by a wide range of individuals, groups and businesses. This is all having a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the users within the community. 

The final words were left to Jimmy Robertson who was one of the early Letham residents and involved at the building of the original Centre:- “I'm impressed not just with the building but with what you’re doing”.

I'm sure that was a view shared by all those on the visit.

The Christmas Gift Initiative is an example of the Community Work of the group.

Members of the Rotary Club of Perth joined with volunteers from Letham4All SCIO, The Baptist Church, Fair City Unity, Letham St Marks Church and Scottish Fire and Rescue to deliver the Christmas Meal Gift Initiative to families on the 22^nd December, 2025.

Every family who received a school meal voucher from their Primary School in Perth during the October School holidays received an invitation to receive the Christmas Meal Gift.  Each household member received a voucher valued at £7.50 for food from either Tesco or Asda, along with a bag of fresh fruit, and a Christmas Treat Bag for children. The organisers hoped this would provide the families with the opportunity to choose their own food to celebrate Christmas and minimise risk to those with allergies.  In addition Scottish Fire and Rescue provided wonderful gifts for the children aged 12 and under.
