Visit to Oaken Grove Vineyard

Vineyard Visit

On August 24th a group of us visited the Oaken Grove vineyard at Henley-on-Thames. Our guide was the owner Phil as his tour guide was unavailable, he apologized more than once for not being a tour guide but he gave the most informative talk I have ever heard and I have heard quite a few.

After the talk we tasted six wines followed by a delightful platter of cheese, charcuterie, grapes, nuts and various nibbles. We were then taken home by our very friendly taxi driver.

Altogether a very enjoyable trip
