The annual Wokingham Fireworks Spectacular in Cantley Park, Wokingham

On Saturday 5th November, our club and many other volunteers from other Rotary clubs, Lions and Unicorns (yes they ARE real!) braved some challenging conditions to entertain about 10,000 people at Cantley Park

A torch lit procession headed to the event field led by St Sebastian Band before we were amazed by a 20 minute firework display set to music.

Absolutely brilliant, a HUGE congratulations once again to the Wokingham Fireworks committee along with the army of volunteers who made this even possible.

This is one of Wokingham’s biggest community events, raising funds for local charities – we'll be able to tell you soon how much you helped raise for these causes:

  • Wokingham Foodbank & Bracknell Foodbank
  • Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley
  • Thames Valley Air Ambulance
  • Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service
  • Topic of Cancer

The event is brought to you by:

  • Easthampstead Rotary Club
  • Wokingham Lions Club
  • Rotary Club of Wokingham
  • Windsor Forest Unicorn Club
  • Thames West Unicorn Club

We've already set the date for 2023 - add it to your Facebook diary here: https://fb.me/e/2ZThrx5l4

Thanks again to our sponsors & supporters: The Wokingham Society, Prospect Estate Agents, Alexandra Grange Care Home & Wokingham in Need
