At the meeting at the New Forest Inn on 13th January, Celia Burgesss, received a cheque for £250 on behalf of hART a voluntary art therapy group, based in Lymington, that works with adults and children throughout the New Forest. Celia is head of Silver Links, an umbrella group that works to enable older people to manage life changes – or as Celia described it, a 'citizen’s advice' style facility for the elderly. Silver Links works out of the hART office in Lymington and many of the people it helps are introduced through hART.
hArt (Hampshire Art for Recreation and Therapy) exists to offer creative therapeutic and recreational activities to support mental health, wellbeing and wider social issues in people of all ages and abilities. (From their website)
