Rotary's Primary Schools Speechmaking Competition.

This is the first round of the competition...


The Primary Schools Speechmaking Competition is a local competition which was originated by the Dumfries Lady Speakers Club and is now run annually by The Rotary Club of Dumfries.
For Round One of this year's competition, each of the young people competing will speak for five minutes on a topic... to be confirmed nearer the event.
8 - 10 finalists will be selected from the first round and proceed to the final of this competition which will take place on Tuesday 19th March 2019 in the same venue...
This event is well supported by our Primary Schools who welcome the opportunity for their pupils to showcase their public speaking skills. The imagination, creativity and confidence displayed is often astounding for ones so young...
