Rotary Quiz v Langholm

First round tie of annual quiz


President Mairhi Trickett welcomed the Langholm club to last week's meeting of the Rotary Club for the first round tie in the Rotary District quiz.  Langholm were represented by Paddy Sherman, Peter Forsyth, Kenneth Pool and Steven Tweddle while the Hawick team was Robin Mason, Gus Neilson, Ron Sutherland and Tommy Mulvee.  In a keenly contested quiz Langholm ran out winners by the comfortable margin of 28-16.  The quizmaster for the evening was Allan McCredie.
