Weekly News from Peter Race 18 August 2009

Building bridges with the community is a key element in Ripon Community Support Officer Chris Coleman's work as oulined to the Club last week.

He makes full use of technology but essentially his role is similar to the old-fashioned village bobby.

Tree planting at Dallowgill took place on Friday August 7th. About 20 Rotarians took part.

Alice Gill starts her OYT course early in September and and a driver is required to return her back to Ripon from South Shields. Please contact Peter T. if you can help.

Tony Boddy is the speaker today with the subject Nautical Expressions.
