The Rotary Club of Minehead

The club has a strong emphasis on friendship and club activities for Rotarians and their partners. We focus mostly on helping our local communities through events, competitions, fund raising and support, always with an element of interest and fun involved.

We have strong links with local schools and other community organisations. One of the strengths of the club is the wide variety of activities we do with young people through many sports events, youth competitions, challenges and expeditions. Perhaps you are aware of the Swimathon, Youth Speaks and Young Musician?

Rotary is an international organisation with many projects worldwide. You may have heard of Shelter box, and the End Polio Now campaign. The club also supports projects in an orphanage in Sri Lanka.

We meet on Monday evenings at the Northfield Hotel 6.15 for 6.45 meal and short business meeting. There is a programme of after dinner speakers, except for the first Monday of the month when we have our club business meetings.

We very much look forward to meeting you. Please contact our  secretary Geoff Dibble, via the link below, for a chat , and maybe coffee, to get to know about our club. You will also be very welcome on any Monday to come along and meet our members before considering joining.

Please have a look at our brochures below (just click on them), and wander through our website to see what we have recently been involved in.
