What we do to Support Communities Local, National and International Projects

President Paula presenting a cheque to Tranent Wombles

RI President Gordon R. McInally calls for Rotary to create hope in the world by working for peace and mental wellbeing. He urges members to engage in tough conversations and earn the trust that’s necessary to realize these values.

Service Projects

Services Projects focus the efforts of the principle avenues of Service within the Rotary organisation:

  • Community Service
  • Vocational Service
  • Student & Youth Opportunities
  • Rotary Foundation

Rotary Club of Tranent Service & Fund Raising Projects

Annually we contribute and assist local Community; International and Rotary Foundation projects, it is important that a balance is maintained and the projects are coordinated to maximise the efforts with our limited resources.  We are very grateful for the support and giving people make to support our Projects.

How are the funds disbursed?

In this current Rotary year (from July 2023) we have given out funds as follows:-

Shelterbox £590.00
Tranent Wombles £250.00
Rotary Toybox Appeal £250.00
