Membership

An outline of the responsibilities of the Membership Committee:

The strength of any organisation lies in effective membership and the recent centenary of Rotary is evidence of our success in maintaining this over the years. Rotary has a wonderful history and our reputation for service is well known and respected worldwide.

Rotary must be relevant in the 21st century and adapt itself in order to increase the level and quality of service sought by local and international communities in need. To meet these criteria, the Membership Services Committee is responsible for membership development and retention, all club service matters and for Rotoract.

The duties of the Membership Committee include :

  • Providing support to Rotarians on all relevant topics of membership - recruitment, retention, extension and involvement.

  • Promoting regular monitoring of the organisation and function of club affairs.

  • Encouraging the development of the club in order to sustain active service through effective membership.

Hungerford Rotary Club welcomes enquiries about membership from the local business and professional community. As a member, you will play an important role in helping local, regional and international organisations to improve the services and the help they can provide. You will also benefit from the fellowship of making new contacts and friends; an active social calendar ensures fun events throughout the year!

If you're interested in joining Hungerford Rotary Club, please make contact and we will arrange for you to visit.
